Financial Information - PayPal
NWF does normally accept payment on its website. Here, for the NWYC, NWF uses PayPal in order to process payments for the contest. In order to process payments, PayPal may collect the following, including, but not limited to, name, home address, email address, phone number, or financial information. As explained in PayPal’s Privacy Statement (here), PayPal may use personal information to process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, create a personalized experience, and inform you about offers, products, and services, among other things.
Personal Information That You Voluntarily Provide To Us For Contest
NWF, on behalf of NWYC, collects and at times stores data, including some personal information, from contest entries and harvest submissions that will be used to learn what practices high-yielding growers are using. The necessary and legitimate information may be shared with our media partners, industry partners, state partners, and the public to assist you in participating in NWYC. By checking the I Agree box in the entry you agree to this use of your personal information. Contact information may be provided to industry partners for promotional and customer recognition.
